Respect the venues – protect the future of the festival.
As we prepare to celebrate 21 years of dance, joy, and unforgettable memories in Rovinj, we want to highlight an important reminder that protects both your experience and the future of the festival.
This is not just a recommendation – it’s a requirement established in agreement with the city of Rovinj to ensure that the festival remains respectful, safe, and sustainable for everyone involved.
Because unofficial, unregulated gatherings often disturb other visitors who come to Rovinj for peace and relaxation, upset local residents, and unfortunately leave piles of trash behind. These actions can seriously damage the trust we’ve built with the city over the years – and risk the very future of the festival.
Official festival venues include:
– Adris Old Tobacco Factory
– Villas Rubin Resort
– MMC Hall & School Hall
– Katarina Island
– Main Square (for Grande Fiesta only)
Please note that organizing or attending dancing gatherings in public areas – such as city streets or unauthorized beaches – is not supported by the city or its residents.
We’ve worked hard to build something meaningful together, and now we all share the responsibility to protect it.
To be perfectly clear:
– No dancing gatherings in city streets
– No beach parties outside official programs
– No music setups in public spaces
Respect the venues. Respect the festival. Respect the city.
By keeping the energy where it belongs – on our official dance floors – you help preserve the magic that brings us all together each summer.
Thank you for being a part of this community. Let’s continue to grow it with care!
